All-purpose heirloom variety originally offered in home garden catalogs in 1906. Bright red fruits are oblate shaped, smooth, crack free and weigh 5 to 8 oz. each. Flesh is firm with a deliciously balanced flavor. Excellent for container gardening or even planted in beds with ornamentals at a 24" spacing. Attractive plants are compact, dwarf type rugose foliage.
