45-50 days. Use as a baby leaf or allow to fully mature - either way, leaves are more tender than typical colored kales. Flavor is mildly sweet and can be enjoyed fresh or cooked. Great for salads, smoothies and for making kale chips. In cooler climates, curled leaves are mostly vibrant pink and have bright green edges. Leaves will be darker green and more purple in hotter climates. Ornamental plants have an almost perfectly manicured look due to their naturally rounded, compact habit. Grows to approx. 12" tall by 18" wide.
