80 days green; 90 days mature. Widely adaptable with excellent setting under hot conditions and good setting under cool conditions, as well! Large, dark green fruits are mostly two-lobed and grow approx. 3½" wide by up to 7¾" long. Poblano/ancho fruits have a traditional heart-shape and a wonderful, clean flavor with just enough pungency at 1,000 to 2,000 Scoville units. Fruits have broad shoulders, thick, smooth walls and mature to an attractive bright red. Can be used at either stage of maturity. Highly popular for fresh or dried use. Great for containers and in small space gardens. Medium-tall plants are vigorous with a bushy habit. Highly resistant to Tobacco Mosaic Virus. High yielding.
